Houseman/Steward

Overview:

We are seeking a hardworking Houseman/Steward to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning, stocking and maintaining an orderly appearance of Casino floor and public areas. As well as providing exceptional guest service while interacting with the patrons in the casino areas. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment on board the Emerald Princess Casino cruise ship.

Duties:

• Stock inventory and supplies
• Bring Ice to bars
• Clean and sanitize restrooms
• Perform routine cleaning of gaming areas, hallways, and offices
• -Set up and clean the work areas
• Maintain a clean and organized floor
• Take out trash

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift and carry 50lbs
• Ability to acquire and maintain a TWIC
• Strong guest service skills with the ability to create a positive and welcoming atmosphere
• Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations with professionalism
• Attention to detail and strong observation skills
• Must be at least 18 years old and pass a background check and drug screen.
• Must be able to work weekends.
• Previous experience as a barback or housekeeping is preferred but NOT required.
