Houseman 1002 E Hwy 53 SE, Calhoun, GA 30701 $11 an hour - Part-time $11 an hour - Part-time Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Houseman to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests have a pleasant and comfortable experience. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to hospitality. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning hallways and common areas according to hotel standards. Conduct floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the hotel including lobbies, restrooms, and dining areas. Collaborate with housekeeping management to ensure efficient operations and guest satisfaction. Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing custodial duties. Provide exceptional service to guests by responding promptly to requests for additional items or services. Assist front desk staff when required Assist housekeeping staff as needed Responsible for more labor-intensive tasks, such a flipping mattresses, hanging pictures and moving furniture or debris. Works closely with hotel supervisors to ensure that all room accessories and electronics are in working order. Comply with security regulations, restock the housekeeping shelves, and make sure that outside areas, like patios and pool areas, are kept clean, tidy and in working order. Responsible for helping guests with requests and concerns, and delivering heavier items, such as a rollaway bed, ironing board and crib. Other duties assigned Requirements Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean thoroughly and efficiently. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. A friendly demeanor with a commitment to providing outstanding hospitality. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Must be detail-oriented, have good customer service skills, be able to lift heavy items and understand cleaning basics.
