Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic 2nd Shift Houseman to join our team, working Thursday through Saturday evenings. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order throughout our facility, ensuring a welcoming and pristine environment for guests and staff alike. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help uphold our high standards of hospitality and cleanliness, creating a positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team committed to excellence in service. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, hallways, and back-of-house spaces to ensure they meet cleanliness standards. Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and vacuuming to maintain spotless surfaces across all areas. Assist with hotel housekeeping tasks including replenishing supplies, changing linens, and restocking amenities as needed. Support janitorial operations by cleaning windows, mirrors, light fixtures, and other surfaces to enhance overall appearance. Handle industrial cleaning tasks when required, including deep cleaning of carpets or upholstery using specialized equipment. Maintain cleanliness of storage closets and supply areas, organizing supplies efficiently for easy access. Collaborate with housekeeping management to ensure all cleaning procedures align with safety standards and guest expectations. Qualifications Prior experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services is highly preferred. Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation is essential. Experience working in hotels or the hospitality industry is a strong plus. Demonstrated ability to perform industrial or deep cleaning tasks effectively. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to work independently and efficiently during evening hours on the specified days. Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift; comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
