Position Summary:
supports the housekeeping department by maintaining clean, organized, and well-stocked public areas, assisting room attendants, and ensuring guests have a comfortable and pleasant stay. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills.
Specific Duties:
Clean and maintain hotel lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, and other public areas. Deliver clean linens, towels, and guest room supplies to housekeeping staff. Collect and transport dirty linens, trash, and recyclables to designated areas. Assist room attendants with moving furniture, making beds, and preparing guest rooms. Restock housekeeping closets and supply carts throughout the shift. Respond promptly to guest requests, such as delivering extra towels, pillows, blankets, or amenities. Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and lost-and-found items to the appropriate department. Maintain cleanliness of storage rooms, laundry areas, and service corridors. Follow hotel safety procedures, sanitation standards, and company policies. Provide friendly and professional service to guests and team members. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous housekeeping or hotel experience is a plus but not required. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform frequent bending, walking, pushing, and standing. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities.
