Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and chemical agents. Handle chemical agents safely by adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) and proper handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for yourself and colleagues. Conduct manual handling tasks such as lifting heavy linens, furniture, or cleaning equipment with proper technique to prevent injury. Maintain floor care by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces to uphold cleanliness standards. Follow hotel housekeeping management protocols, including inventory control, restocking supplies, and reporting maintenance issues promptly. Implement hotel emergency procedures efficiently in case of incidents or safety concerns. Use janitorial and industrial cleaning equipment effectively to deliver high-quality custodial services across all designated areas. Experience Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate. Demonstrated knowledge of cleaning techniques, including the use of chemical agents and floor care equipment. Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols is advantageous. Experience with hotel housekeeping management systems or processes is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
