Job Summary Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Housekeeper, where your attention to detail and dedication will create a welcoming, spotless environment for our guests. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Your efforts directly contribute to guest satisfaction, safety, and the overall reputation of our hotel. Duties Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, carpets, furniture, and fixtures to ensure a pristine environment. Handle cleaning chemicals and agents safely in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines to maintain health standards. Perform floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to uphold high cleanliness standards across all areas. Manage heavy lifting tasks involving linen carts, cleaning equipment, and supplies with proper manual handling techniques to prevent injury. Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by performing janitorial and custodial duties regularly. Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently to ensure safety during incidents or hazards. Document completed tasks accurately in logs or checklists to ensure accountability and quality control. Qualifications Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles within hospitality or industrial cleaning environments. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and the proper handling of chemical agents. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while lifting heavy items or moving furniture and equipment. Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management practices and standards for maintaining guest satisfaction. Understanding of safety protocols related to chemical use, heavy lifting, and emergency procedures within a hospitality setting. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards. Previous experience working with safety data sheets (SDS) and industrial cleaning products is preferred.
