Duties Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, floors, furniture, and fixtures, ensuring all areas meet cleanliness standards. Handle various cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and floor care using appropriate cleaning equipment and techniques. Safely manage chemical agents and cleaning supplies in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS) and hotel protocols to ensure a safe environment for yourself and guests. Perform heavy lifting and manual handling of linens, furniture, and cleaning equipment to maintain efficient workflow. Maintain sanitation standards by adhering to hotel housekeeping management procedures and industry best practices for custodial and janitorial experience. Respond promptly to guest requests for additional amenities or service needs with a friendly customer service approach. Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently to ensure safety during unforeseen incidents or hazards. Qualifications Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial/janitorial roles within hospitality settings. Strong knowledge of floor cleaning techniques, chemical handling, sanitation practices, and industrial cleaning methods. Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and steam cleaners effectively. Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude toward guest satisfaction. Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols. Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks efficiently. Prior hotel experience or hospitality background is highly preferred to excel in this energetic role.
