We are hiring hard-working, experienced Housekeepers to join our team. Housekeepers are responsible for cleaning patient rooms, restocking bathroom supplies and cleaning common areas. This position requires significant physical labor. Previous experience as a Housekeeper is preferred.

Primary Purpose:

Maintain facility areas in safe, orderly and sanitary conditions. Administer housekeeping functions in accordance with policies and procedures.

Essential Functions:

Operate machines to maintain floor surfaces within the facility. Selects appropriate materials and supplies for cleaning assigned areas. Reports to supervisor mechanical failure of items requiring repair. Follow established safety procedures and house rules. Perform other related housekeeping duties as may be required or assigned.

Other Functions:

Perform other duties as assigned that may include providing daily cleaning and replenishing of supplies to resident units, bathrooms, offices, and other areas of the facility. Notifies supervisor when supply inventory is low. Duties include light maintenance, working with ladders and lifting and moving furniture such as tables, chairs, and beds. May receive and store materials and supplies. Attends in-services as required.

Working Conditions:

Indoors under regular facility conditions; outdoors in all types of weather conditions. Some exposure to and handling of hazardous chemicals and materials.

Equipment Used:

Operate commercial vacuums, sweepers, carpet cleaning equipment, pressure washers, buffing machine and ladders. Machines, tools and work aides include housekeeping carts, linen carts, mop bucket, cleaning supplies, mop broom. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
