Room Attendant, Full Time Rate of Pay:

$23.41/hour Opportunity Awaits on the beautiful Island of Hawaii... King Kamehameha Kona Beach Resort Courtyard by Marriott currently has an opening for a talented Full Time Room Attendant to share the aloha spirit and strive to create a memorable guest experience.

Brief Summary of Job:

Performs routine tasks of cleaning and servicing guests' accommodations such as rooms, suites, baths, lanais, breakfast bars and other areas. Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to: Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing personalized service to hotel guests. Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members. Clean guest rooms to Company standards including but not limited to: making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, etc. Performs routine jobs under little or no direct supervision. Work is subject to inspection by supervisors. Follow Company policy for room amenities. Maintain complete security of master room key. Report any maintenance items that need immediate attention. Assist with laundry as needed. Report any missing/found articles or damage to Housekeeping management. Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel. Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management. •Management retains the discretion to add or change the duties of the position at any time. •

Requirements Knowledge/Education/Experience:

Previous one (1) year experience preferred.

Skills/Abilities/Other Requirements:

Basic cleaning skills. Ability to communicate in English with guests, management and fellow team members to their understanding desirable. Ability to prioritize, organize and make good judgments.
