Conduct floor cleaning and floor care using appropriate equipment such as sweepers, scrubbers, and buffers to keep surfaces spotless. Manage laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing as needed. Use cleaning detergents and supplies safely and effectively while adhering to all safety guidelines. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or equipment with proper technique to prevent injury. Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service. Maintain cleaning equipment in good working condition through regular inspection and troubleshooting. Follow established janitorial and custodial procedures to ensure consistent quality across all tasks. Manage time efficiently to complete assigned cleaning schedules within designated timeframes. Support outdoor work when required, including outdoor surface cleaning or debris removal. Qualifications Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments with knowledge of janitorial or custodial practices. Familiarity with cleaning surfaces, carpet cleaning techniques, and floor care equipment. Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and perform manual handling tasks comfortably. Strong understanding of sanitation standards and proper use of cleaning detergents. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Outstanding customer service skills with a professional attitude when communicating with clients. Experience in laundry operations and outdoor work is a plus.
