Part Time Housekeeper (Comfort Inn & Suites) - Independence,IA

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Part Time Housekeeper at our welcoming hotel in Independence, IA. Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, scrubbing, and specialized floor care techniques to ensure safety and appearance standards are met. Restock amenities such as toiletries, linens, and supplies to ensure guest comfort and convenience. Follow established protocols for janitorial and industrial cleaning tasks to uphold hygiene standards across all areas. Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards, reporting issues promptly. Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to custodial work, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals. Support hotel management with additional custodial duties or special cleaning projects as needed to maintain a pristine environment. Experience Prior experience in housekeeping, janitorial work, or custodial services within a hotel or hospitality setting is highly preferred. Knowledge of cleaning techniques specific to floors, carpets, and industrial cleaning equipment is advantageous. Familiarity with hotel operations and customer service principles enhances your ability to meet guest expectations. Experience with housekeeper management or supervising cleaning staff is a plus but not required. Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Strong attention to detail combined with excellent time management skills ensures efficient completion of tasks.
