Room Attendant/Housekeeping

Job Summary:

We are seeking a meticulous Room Attendant to join us in working at the all new Fairfield Inn, by Marriott in Norwalk, IA. The ideal candidate will have experience in housekeeping management, custodial services, or hospitality industry cleaning.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain guest rooms following company standards
• Change bed linens, replace towels, and restock guest room amenities
• Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties
• Ensure all surfaces are dusted and sanitized
• Report any maintenance issues to the appropriate department
• Assist with laundry duties as needed

Experience:

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or related field preferred
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices is a plus
• Familiarity with floor care techniques is beneficial This role requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to work efficiently, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our guests.
