Job Description
This hotel is professionally managed by Ignite Hotels, a hospitality management company operating select-service and extended-stay properties across multiple states. About the Role The Room Attendant cleans and prepares guest rooms and assigned areas to brand standards to ensure rooms are clean, comfortable, and ready for arrival. Essential Functions Clean and service guest rooms according to brand and company standards. Change linens, make beds, and restock room amenities and supplies. Clean bathrooms, vacuum, dust, and sanitize high-touch surfaces. Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and lost-and-found items promptly. Follow proper chemical handling and safety procedures. Maintain housekeeping carts and storage areas in clean, organized condition. Follow room assignment schedules and productivity standards. Support room turns and priorities as directed. Perform other duties as assigned. This description is intended to outline the general nature and level of work performed. Qualifications Experience Housekeeping, cleaning, or hospitality experience preferred (willing to train the right candidate). Education High school diploma or GED preferred. Skills & Abilities Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently. Professional, friendly demeanor with guests and team members. Reliable, punctual, and dependable. Availability Scheduling may include weekends and holidays based on operational needs. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, push carts, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift. Work Environment This position operates in a hotel housekeeping environment with repetitive motion and physical activity.
