Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Part-Time Housekeeper, where your energy and attention to detail will help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests and staff. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation across various areas, ensuring compliance with safety regulations such as OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) guidelines. This position offers flexible hours and the opportunity to develop valuable custodial skills in a fast-paced, supportive environment. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and using approved cleaning agents and equipment. Ensure all surfaces, floors, windows, and fixtures are sanitized according to established sanitation protocols. Maintain cleanliness of floors through proper floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning. Follow safety procedures related to OSHA standards to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and cleaning products to ensure availability for staff and guests. Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management for immediate resolution. Adhere to environmental services standards by minimizing waste and using eco-friendly cleaning practices whenever possible. Qualifications Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred; experience in healthcare or hospital environments is a plus. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to cleaning and sanitation practices. Familiarity with environmental services procedures and commercial cleaning techniques. Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners safely. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to work independently while following detailed instructions. Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift.
