To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Duties:
Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards, including bedrooms and bathrooms Change bed linens, make beds, and replace towels and guest amenities Vacuum, dust, mop, and sanitize guest rooms and public areas as assigned Restock housekeeping carts and ensure cleaning supplies are organized and readily available Report maintenance issues, damaged items, or safety concerns to management Respond promptly to guest requests in a professional and courteous manner Follow hotel cleaning procedures, safety guidelines, and sanitation standards Assist with cleaning public areas, laundry, or other housekeeping duties as needed Work efficiently to meet daily room quotas while maintaining high quality standards Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout each shift
Skills :
Previous housekeeping or hotel experience preferred, but not required Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent time management and organizational skills Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated Ability to follow instructions and hotel policies Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout an 8-hour shift Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Ability to push and pull housekeeping carts weighing up to 250 pounds Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks while maintaining quality standards Manual dexterity to safely operate housekeeping equipment and cleaning tools
