Duties Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and sanitation procedures to uphold high standards of hygiene. Execute laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens efficiently. Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents to clean surfaces, carpets, floors, and furniture while following safety protocols. Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas when required, including patios or entryways, ensuring an inviting appearance. Implement proper manual handling techniques to lift and move heavy furniture or equipment safely. Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within scheduled periods while maintaining quality standards. Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide exceptional customer service. Skills Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning with janitorial or custodial background preferred. Strong knowledge of cleaning and sanitation procedures along with the use of various cleaning detergents and equipment. Expertise in floor cleaning techniques such as vacuuming, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning. Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and perform outdoor work when necessary. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively throughout the workday. Outstanding customer service abilities with clear client communication skills. Familiarity with housekeeper management tasks including scheduling and client interaction for residential housekeeping services.
