Job Description
Riverside Residence, an independent senior living community is seeking a reliable, friendly Housekeeper to help keep our community clean, safe, and welcoming for our residents. What You'll Do Clean resident apartments on a set schedule (dusting, vacuuming, mopping, bathrooms, trash, linens) Maintain common areas daily, including lobbies, hallways, dining room, restrooms, and elevators, with attention to high-touch surfaces Perform routine carpet shampooing in common areas and resident apartments, including spot treatment and move-out cleans Follow safe chemical handling and infection control practices; keep carts and supply closets organized and stocked Report maintenance or safety concerns to the Executive Director What We're Looking For Housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred (senior living or hospitality a plus) Comfortable operating commercial vacuums and carpet shampooers/extractors, or willing to learn Patient, respectful, and friendly with older adults Dependable and able to work independently Able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs regularly
