Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Houseman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization within our hotel. As a Hotel Houseman, you will play a vital role in ensuring guest satisfaction by providing a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of hallways and common areas to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met. Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to maintain a tidy appearance. Vacuum carpets and clean floors using appropriate floor care techniques. Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products in public areas. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Follow established procedures and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned. Requirements Previous experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required. Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and custodial practices is an advantage. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. A positive attitude with strong customer service skills is essential for interacting with guests.
