Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Residential Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents in a private senior living community in Barrington. This position focuses on personalized service and building trusted relationships with the individuals you serve. Key Responsibilities Clean residential units to high standards, including bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and living areas Follow specific cleaning preferences for each resident (e.g. bed-making, towel handling, product use) Maintain a fully stocked and organized cleaning cart Assist with laundry duties as needed Clean public areas when time allows Respond promptly and respectfully to resident requests and concerns Work collaboratively with the team on deep cleans and special projects Complete maintenance work orders and incident reports as needed Follow safety procedures and report any hazards Qualifications 1+ years of housekeeping experience in a healthcare or hospitality setting Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality service Positive attitude, dependable, and team-oriented Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays Strong communication and interpersonal skills Professional appearance and demeanor Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and push/pull carts up to 50 lbs Capable of repetitive motion tasks such as mopping, dusting, and scrubbing
