Housekeeper

Job Overview Paxton inn is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Housekeeper to join our team and help create a welcoming, clean, and comfortable environment for our guests and staff. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all designated areas. This position is for set days of the week: 6 DAYS

OF THE WEEK

This position is considered Part Time This position starts at 15.00 per hour (negotiable with prior hotel experience) Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces Ensure all floors are properly cared for through sweeping, scrubbing, and applying appropriate floor finishes Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, towels, and amenities to ensure guest satisfaction Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to maintain a hygienic environment Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution Adhere to hotel standards for cleanliness and presentation at all times Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and supplies used Skills Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality housekeeping roles Familiarity with industrial cleaning methods and custodial practices Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality and consistency Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or housekeeping management is highly desirable Interested candidates can send their resumes at paxtoninn03@gmail.com OR call at (217)3792316
