Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Custodial/Housekeeping professional with a strong background in maintenance to keep our facilities clean, safe, and well-maintained. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring offices, theatres, dressing rooms, lobby, concessions and lobby are spotless, organized, and properly cared for, supporting a positive environment for staff and visitors alike. Your expertise in facilities maintenance, set up/tear down of events and overall housekeeping skills will be essential to maintaining the high standards of our organization. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using commercial cleaning techniques and equipment. Conduct detailed floor care activities such as carpet cleaning to ensure surfaces are pristine and well-maintained. Execute custodial duties with precision, including trash removal, dusting, window washing, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces to promote health and safety standards. Support facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, painting (residential or commercial), and troubleshooting equipment issues to keep the environment functional. Operate industrial cleaning tools and machinery safely while adhering to safety protocols and procedures. Assist with operational duties by moving supplies, furniture, or equipment as needed throughout the facility. Maintain detailed records of cleaning schedules, maintenance activities, and safety inspections to ensure compliance with organizational policies. Qualifications Proven experience in custodial work or janitorial services with a focus on commercial or industrial cleaning environments. Must be able to interact with guests, patrons and other employees in a courteous manner. Knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning. Experience in residential painting or facilities maintenance is a plus. Strong understanding of cleaning chemicals, safety procedures, and proper equipment handling to comply with OHSA standards. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery efficiently. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards. Prior maintenance experience preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Join us in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment!
