Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeping Worker to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across healthcare facilities or commercial environments. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of patient rooms, common areas, offices, restrooms, and hallways using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting surfaces, equipment, and high-touch areas to support infection prevention and control measures Operate cleaning machinery such as , vacuums, and carpet cleaners with proper technique for optimal results Adhere to environmental services guidelines to minimize chemical exposure and promote eco-friendly practices Assist with heavy lifting tasks using safe lifting practices when moving furniture, supplies, or heavy equipment as needed Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to staff or patient requests for cleaning or sanitation assistance Qualifications Prior janitorial or custodial experience in healthcare facilities or commercial settings is highly preferred Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to chemical handling, safety procedures, and environmental services best practices Experience with healthcare infection prevention and control protocols is a strong advantage Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of sanitation Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting, bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment Excellent communication skills coupled with a customer service-oriented approach Join us in creating safe, clean spaces that support health and well-being!
