Duties Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, furniture, and fixtures to ensure a spotless environment. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms by performing regular janitorial tasks. Perform floor care duties including vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and applying appropriate treatments to preserve flooring quality. Restock amenities such as towels, toiletries, and linens to enhance guest comfort and satisfaction. Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold safety standards. Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations. Assist with laundry duties when necessary, including washing linens and guest clothing items. Requirements Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial roles is highly preferred; experience in industrial cleaning or custodial work is a plus. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and sanitation standards within hospitality settings. Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and steam cleaners efficiently. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including bending, lifting, standing for extended periods, and moving furniture or equipment. Familiarity with hospitality industry practices and a commitment to providing exceptional guest service.
