Role:

Chesterton Manor is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeping/Laundry Assistant to join our skilled nursing facility team. As part of our dedicated staff, you'll help ensure a clean and comfortable environment for residents by performing light cleaning and laundry duties.

Shift:

Full-Time Responsibilities:

Follow housekeeping and laundry protocols to maintain cleanliness throughout the facility. Collect soiled linen (facility or residents' personal items) and place it in the washing machine. Fold or hang personal linens, then distribute them to residents' rooms. Organize clothing in closets and drawers to ensure neat and tidy spaces.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or similar roles is a plus. Must be 18 years or older. Familiarity with cleaning equipment, materials, and techniques.
