Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors. Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial, or custodial work, especially within hotel or hospitality settings, is highly valued. Duties Clean and disinfect guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces Perform floor care tasks such as mopping and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance Restock amenities and supplies in guest rooms and public areas Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and stored properly Maintain cleanliness of hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and other public spaces Follow established health and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties Adhere to hotel standards for quality and efficiency in housekeeping procedures Requirements Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services; hotel experience is preferred Knowledge of floor care techniques including mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and customer service principles is a plus Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Previous experience in industrial cleaning or housekeeping management is advantageous but not required This position plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional guest experience by ensuring our facilities are clean, safe, and inviting.
