Job Summary Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Housekeeping & Laundry Person, where your energy and attention to detail will create a welcoming and pristine environment for our guests. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout the property, ensuring every guest experience exceeds expectations. Your dedication to cleanliness, floor care, and laundry operations will directly contribute to the comfort and satisfaction of our visitors. This position offers an engaging opportunity to showcase your janitorial expertise while working in a vibrant, guest-focused setting. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces using established protocols for sanitation and safety. Maintain high standards of floor care by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing various flooring surfaces to ensure a spotless appearance. Handle laundry operations efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing with care. Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products to ensure rooms are fully equipped for guest needs. Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance issues or cleanliness deficiencies and report them promptly for resolution. Follow safety procedures during cleaning tasks to prevent accidents or injuries while maintaining a clean work environment. Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and laundry materials to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained. Qualifications Prior experience in housekeeping, janitorial services, or hospitality environments is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and laundry processes. Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and custodial tools is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards. Ability to follow safety guidelines diligently and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly.
