As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining pristine environments, providing exceptional service, and creating welcoming spaces for clients and guests alike. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a spotless environment. Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing with care. Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms by disinfecting fixtures, restocking supplies, and ensuring hygiene standards are met. Prepare and cook simple meals or snacks as needed, demonstrating basic cooking skills to support household or guest needs. Manage outdoor work responsibilities like sweeping patios, cleaning outdoor furniture, and maintaining garden areas when required. Use proper manual handling techniques to lift heavy items such as furniture or large cleaning equipment safely. Follow all sanitation protocols and safety procedures to uphold health standards across all areas of work. Requirements Proven experience in residential cleaning, janitorial work, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning environments. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, floor care, and sanitation practices. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently; experience with heavy lifting is preferred. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards clients and guests. Basic cooking skills for preparing simple meals or snacks when necessary. Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and complete duties promptly. Outdoor work experience is a plus for maintaining exterior spaces or garden areas. Previous housekeeping management experience is advantageous for supervisory roles.
