Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization to maintain a spotless environment. Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing with care and efficiency. Maintain floor care by shampooing carpets, waxing floors, and applying appropriate cleaning techniques to preserve flooring quality. Ensure proper sanitation practices are followed in kitchens and bathrooms to promote health and safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by addressing residents' or guests' requests promptly and professionally. Manage residential or commercial cleaning tasks with precision, including trash removal, window cleaning, and organizing clutter. Support housekeeping management by adhering to schedules, safety protocols, and quality standards to ensure consistent service delivery. Experience Previous custodial or janitorial experience is highly desirable, especially in residential or hotel settings. Experience in commercial cleaning or housekeeper roles that involve detailed cleaning procedures. Familiarity with various cleaning tools and products used for sanitation, floor care, carpet cleaning, and laundry operations. Knowledge of housekeeping management practices is a plus for those interested in supervisory responsibilities. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents or clients. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy items, standing for extended periods, and bending frequently.
