Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various settings, including residential homes and commercial properties. This role requires a strong commitment to sanitation and an eye for detail to ensure that all areas are clean, organized, and welcoming. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Conduct commercial cleaning tasks in offices and public spaces to maintain a professional appearance. Execute carpet cleaning procedures to ensure carpets are well-maintained and free from stains. Manage housekeeping operations effectively, ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely manner. Launder linens and other fabrics as needed, ensuring they are clean and fresh for use. Carry out floor care duties, including sweeping, waxing, and polishing floors to maintain their condition. Provide custodial services in various environments, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs for replenishment. Qualifications Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred but not required. Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and equipment is advantageous. Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions precisely. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
