The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests. This position involves cleaning guest rooms and public areas, ensuring that all housekeeping standards are met, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Room Cleaning:

Clean and prepare guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities. Ensure bathrooms are sanitized and stocked with necessary supplies.

Public Area Maintenance:

Clean and maintain corridors, lobbies, and other public areas. Ensure all areas are free from hazards and present a clean and inviting atmosphere.

Laundry Duties:

Collect, wash, and fold linens, towels, and other guest items as needed. Ensure proper handling and storage of soiled items.

Inspection and Reporting:

Inspect guest rooms and public areas for cleanliness and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.

Compliance and Safety:

Follow all safety and sanitation protocols in accordance with company policies and local regulations. Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and responsibly.

Customer Service:

Respond promptly to guest requests and concerns in a courteous and professional manner. Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction through excellent service.

Qualifications:

Prior experience in housekeeping or janitorial work preferred. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness. Good physical stamina and the ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods. Excellent communication skills and a customer service-oriented attitude.

Working Conditions:

Fast-paced environment in a hotel setting. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. May require working with cleaning chemicals and handling equipment.
