Job Description

Description As a Clinic Floor Care Aide you play an important role in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. The Clinic Floor Care Aide is responsible for maintaining Clinic floors in a clean, sanitary, and attractive condition to support effective patient care, safe working conditions for staff, and a positive experience for visitors and guests. How You'll Make an Impact Routine Cleaning and Maintenance Remove trash and debris from floor surfaces, sweep, dust mop, and wet mop floors daily. Vacuum carpets and entry mats, spot cleaning stains, spills, and high traffic areas. Maintain baseboards and edges of flooring. Equipment Operation and Upkeep Operate floor Sweeper Clean and maintain equipment after use and ensure proper storage of tools and machinery. Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs. Safety Follow infection control and sanitation protocols. Use proper dilution and handling of cleaning chemicals. Place proper warning signs for wet floor hazards. Respond promptly to spills to prevent slips and falls. Wear PPE when appropriate. Requirements Qualifications High School Diploma or GED preferred. Must be able to read, speak and understand English. Who You Are A team player with strong work ethic and attention to detail Reliable and consistent Discreet, respectful and compassionate Skills & Capabilities Thorough knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitizing procedures, and infection control standards. Safe use of chemicals and equipment. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately. Strong communication skills for interacting with staff, supervisors and when appropriate, patients or guests. Problem-solving and decision-making skills to handle unexpected situations.
Position Details Schedule:
Part-Time, 20-25 hour per week position
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, bend and lift up to 50lbs. Comfortable working in fast-paced or physically demanding environments.
Equipment:
Ability to use a computer, tablet and phone. Housekeeping cart, mops, brooms and dust pans, vacuums, floor sweeper.
