Housekeeping

Overview:

Join our team at Super 8 Worldwide, the world's largest budget hotel chain, and be a part of our commitment to providing exceptional hospitality services. We are currently seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean and welcoming environment for our guests.

Housekeeper Responsibilities:

Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures Stripping laundry from rooms Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks Making beds and changing linens Vacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugs Sweeping/vacuuming, polishing, and mopping hard floors Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate Using any cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and other cleaning tools Keeping bathrooms stocked with clean linens, toiletries, and other supplies Cleaning mirrors and other glass surfaces Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste Tidying up rooms Monitoring cleaning supplies and ordering more as needed Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards Reporting any necessary repairs or replacements Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices

Requirements:

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Integrity and ability to work independently
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Weekends are required.

Previous experience in custodial or housekeeping roles is preferred, especially in hotel or commercial cleaning settings. Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean and sanitize effectively. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor when interacting with guests or residents. Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require standing for extended periods and lifting moderate weights.
