Flexible; includes daily cleaning rounds, interior unit work, and occasional on‑call needs Role Overview The Cleaner/Porter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of the property, including apartment interiors , common areas, and exterior grounds. This role directly supports resident satisfaction and unit readiness. Candidates must be dependable, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities Apartment Interiors Complete full interior cleanings for vacant units (move‑out and turn cleans) Support light touch‑up cleaning for occupied units as directed Clean kitchens, bathrooms, appliances, cabinets, flooring, windows, and fixtures Ensure units meet property standards for move‑in readiness Report damages, maintenance needs, or safety concerns discovered inside units Common Areas & Facilities Clean hallways, offices, restrooms, laundry rooms, entryways, and shared spaces Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize high‑touch surfaces Maintain cleanliness of community amenities (if applicable) Exterior & Grounds Pick up trash and debris around buildings, parking lots, and walkways Maintain dumpster areas and assist with bulk trash coordination Monitor exterior lighting and report issues General Support Assist maintenance team with light tasks such as changing bulbs, minor touch‑ups, and unit prep Maintain cleaning supply inventory and storage organization Provide friendly, professional interactions with residents and vendors Follow established cleaning schedules and respond to priority needs Qualifications Experience in cleaning, janitorial, porter, or housekeeping roles preferred Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks Reliable transportation and consistent attendance Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment Ability to work independently and follow established routines Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Mileage or supply reimbursement (if applicable)
