The Holiday Inn Express & Suites is currently hiring for multiple positions within our Housekeeping Department , including: Housekeepers / Room Attendants Guest Room Inspectors Laundry Attendants Janitorial / Public Area Attendants Scheduled hours and days may vary based on hotel occupancy and business needs. Weekend and holiday availability may be required.

Job Purpose:

Our Housekeeping Department plays an important role in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming experience for every guest. Depending on your position, responsibilities may include cleaning guest rooms, inspecting completed rooms, maintaining public areas, processing hotel laundry and linens, stocking supplies, and supporting the overall cleanliness of the hotel. Team members are expected to follow IHG brand standards, IHG 5S Way of Clean procedures, safety requirements, and hotel policies while providing friendly and professional service. Your Day-to-Day Work independently while supporting the Housekeeping team. Complete assigned responsibilities efficiently and within expected timeframes. Communicate room status, maintenance concerns, supply needs, and other issues with supervisors. Work together with other departments to ensure rooms and hotel areas are ready for our guests. Follow all training, safety procedures, and hotel policies.

Guest Experience :

Depending on the position, responsibilities may include: Cleaning and servicing guest rooms. Making beds and replacing linens. Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms. Vacuuming, dusting, removing trash, and replenishing guest amenities. Inspecting guest rooms for cleanliness, proper presentation, maintenance concerns, and safety issues. Cleaning and maintaining hotel public areas, restrooms, hallways, entrances, offices, and employee areas. Washing, drying, folding, organizing, and distributing hotel linens and towels. Stocking housekeeping carts, linen areas, and supplies. Responding professionally and respectfully to guest requests. Reporting lost and found items according to hotel procedures. Quality & Standards Follow IHG 5S Way of Clean and hotel cleaning standards. Follow proper chemical usage, sanitation, and safety procedures. Maintain cleaning equipment, carts, laundry areas, and storage areas in a clean and organized condition. Ensure guest rooms and public areas meet hotel and brand presentation standards. Report damaged items, maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or unusual conditions promptly. Take pride in the cleanliness and appearance of the hotel. Responsible Business Use hotel supplies, linens, chemicals, and equipment responsibly. Help minimize unnecessary waste. Follow hotel security, key control, and lost and found procedures. Maintain guest privacy and confidentiality. Perform other duties as assigned based on hotel needs. What We Need From You Strong attention to detail. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and guests. Previous housekeeping, janitorial, laundry, or hotel experience is preferred but not required .
