Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for all guests. Experience in cleaning and hospitality is preferred, but a strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a high-quality guest experience through exceptional custodial services. Responsibilities Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies Perform floor care duties such as mopping, sweeping, and carpet cleaning to maintain cleanliness throughout the property Ensure public areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms are tidy and well-maintained Handle special cleaning requests and deep cleaning tasks as needed, including industrial cleaning procedures when necessary Follow safety protocols and proper handling of cleaning chemicals to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff Report maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to management for prompt resolution Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, notifying management when supplies need replenishing Qualifications Prior experience in hotel housekeeping, janitorial work, or custodial services is highly desirable Knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning methods preferred Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety standards Previous experience in hospitality or housekeeping management is a plus Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift light loads, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks effectively This position plays a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by maintaining cleanliness standards across the property.
