Responsibilities Start Time:

9 AM No guaranteed end time — shift ends when work is completed Weekends & Holidays Required Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, vacuuming carpets, dusting surfaces, and replacing linens and amenities. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as hallways, lobby, restrooms, and common spaces by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces. Handle cleaning tasks using equipment such as vacuums and cleaning carts efficiently and safely. Properly handle chemical agents in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines to ensure safe use during cleaning procedures. Perform heavy lifting when moving furniture or supplies and manual handling tasks with care to prevent injury. Follow hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff. Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly. Qualifications Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial services is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and the proper handling of chemical agents is highly desirable. Ability to perform physical tasks such as vacuuming, heavy lifting, and manual handling comfortably throughout shifts. Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude toward guests and team members. Understanding of hotel emergency procedures and safety data sheets (SDS) to ensure safe work practices. Previous experience in hospitality or custodial roles demonstrates reliability and attention to detail.
