Housekeeper (Hotel)

We are seeking a reliable, dedicated, and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. This position requires a strong commitment to hospitality and an understanding of the importance of cleanliness in the hotel environment. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and public areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Change bed linens, vacuum carpets, dust furniture, and sanitize bathrooms to ensure guest satisfaction. Restock room supplies such as toiletries, towels, and linens as needed. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Follow established procedures for cleaning and housekeeping management to ensure consistency in service delivery. Assist with floor care tasks including mopping, waxing, and buffing as required. Maintain equipment and cleaning supplies in good working order and report any shortages or needs to management. Uphold the highest standards of custodial practices while working efficiently to meet deadlines. Qualifications Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and quality service. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Strong communication skills for interacting with guests and team members. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting up to 50lbs., bending, and standing for extended periods.
