Hiring Agency General Government Cabinet | Department of Veterans Affairs Location 100 Veterans Dr Radcliff, KY 40160 USA Description The Radcliff Veteran Center is a skilled nursing facility that cares for the Commonwealth of Kentucky's Veterans. Our mission is to Serve Kentucky's Veterans by fostering independence, preserving dignity and providing compassionate care. The Housekeeper position is responsible for performing housekeeping and laundry duties at the Carl M. Brashear Radcliff Veterans Center. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Cleans and sanitizes designated areas in the facility. Ensures that housekeeping supplies are replenished in work areas and equipment are cleaned and stored properly. Assists residents and visitors as needed. Picks up and sorts soiled laundry. Operates washing machines and dryers along with a variety of machines in sorting, ironing, pressing and folding finished laundry. Delivers finished laundry to residents. Maintains cleanliness of machines and work areas. Assists residents and visitors as needed. Skills and abilities include, but are not limited to: Strong interpersonal skills Professionalism Adaptability and flexibility Self-starter Compassionate This position, located in Hardin county, has an approved Locality Premium of $7.13 in compliance with 101 KAR 2:034 Section 9(1).
