Housekeeper

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order within our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional service in line with hospitality standards. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing all areas of the facility. Maintain cleanliness of guest rooms, common areas, restrooms, and other designated spaces. Manage floor care duties such as sweeping, buffing, and waxing floors as needed. Conduct industrial cleaning tasks for larger areas or specialized equipment following safety protocols. Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored; report any shortages or maintenance needs. Follow housekeeping management protocols to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization. Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing custodial duties. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or concerns related to housekeeping. Qualifications Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred; experience in hospitality settings such as hotels is a plus. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals used in floor care and industrial cleaning. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Good communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members. Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
