Walk-In applications are encouraged. We conduct walk-in interviews Monday through Friday from 10AM to 2PM at 1591 W. Prien Lake Rd., Lake Charles, LA. Job Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Housekeeper, where your dedication to cleanliness and attention to detail will create welcoming, pristine environments for our guests. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Your enthusiasm and commitment will directly enhance the guest experience, ensuring every visitor feels valued and comfortable from check-in to check-out. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in hospitality and custodial services while working in a vibrant, fast-paced environment. Duties Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, floors, windows, and furniture to ensure a spotless environment. Perform detailed floor care tasks such as vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and maintaining overall cleanliness of hallways and public areas. Restock supplies like toiletries, linens, towels, and amenities to ensure guest satisfaction. Handle laundry duties efficiently by washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels. Maintain cleanliness of common areas such as lobbies, restrooms, hallways, and dining spaces with attention to detail. Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly. Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold safety standards. Skills Proven experience in cleaning or custodial roles within hotels or hospitality settings. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, waxing, and polishing. Familiarity with janitorial equipment and industrial cleaning tools. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on hygiene standards and guest comfort. Ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues clearly. Prior housekeeping management experience is a plus for those interested in leadership opportunities.
