Job Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Housekeeper and play a vital role in creating a welcoming, spotless environment for our guests. In this energetic and detail-oriented position, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Your dedication to high standards of hygiene and hospitality will ensure every guest experiences comfort and satisfaction during their stay. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure top cleanliness standards. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting. Handle laundry duties efficiently by washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels. Conduct detailed floor care routines including carpet cleaning and polishing hard floors to preserve their appearance and safety. Restock amenities such as toiletries, towels, and supplies to ensure guest comfort at all times. Follow established health and safety protocols during cleaning procedures to promote a safe environment for guests and staff. Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold the hotel's quality standards. Qualifications Proven experience in cleaning or custodial roles within hotels or similar hospitality environments is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including industrial cleaning methods and floor care. Familiarity with hotel operations and standards of hospitality service. Ability to perform janitorial tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout shifts. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Previous experience in housekeeping management is a plus but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates eager to grow within the role.
