Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at an award-winning upscale property. This position requires a strong commitment to hospitality and an eye for detail, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be reliable. Previous experience a must. Background check required. We're looking for someone who cares about cleanliness, enjoys working in a serene setting, and values being part of a dedicated team. This is a part time and seasonal position. Up to 5 days a week during the busy months. Hours are 8 am - 3 pm. This is a seasonal inn that is open from April through mid-December. Would be great to have someone in this position that wanted to come back next year if everything works out. Please apply and send a resume and quick note introducing yourself for consideration. Housekeeper Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities according to established standards. Manage housekeeping tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and sanitizing surfaces. Assist with Laundry and kitchen clean-up. Ensure all linens and towels are clean, organized, and properly stocked. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are used efficiently. Collaborate with housekeeping management to uphold high standards of cleanliness and service. Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, including deep cleaning and floor care. Experience Previous experience in housekeeping is a must. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions effectively. Excellent organizational skills and the capacity to manage time efficiently. A commitment to providing exceptional service. Background check is required.
