Job Description
Job Summary Join our team! We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at an award-winning upscale property. This position requires a strong commitment to hospitality and an eye for detail, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be reliable. Previous housekeeping experience a must. Background check required. We're looking for someone who cares about cleanliness, enjoys working in a serene setting, and values being part of a dedicated team. This is a part time and seasonal position. 2 to 4 days a week, through mid-November -- and then tapering as we get closer to the December closing of the inn. Hours are 9 am - 3 pm. Saturday is one of the days we absolutely need to cover with this position. This is a seasonal inn that is open from April through mid-December. Housekeeper Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities according to established standards. Manage housekeeping tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and sanitizing surfaces. Assist with Laundry. Ensure all linens and towels are clean, organized, and properly stocked. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Collaborate with housekeeping management to uphold high standards of cleanliness and service. Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, including deep cleaning and floor care. Experience Previous experience in housekeeping is a must. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions effectively. Excellent organizational skills and the capacity to manage time efficiently. Background check is required.
