Pay Range:
$20/hr-$23.50/hr (Education & experience dependent)

Full Time About Us High Point has programs offering Section 35 services for individuals that have been civilly committed to Substance Use Treatment. Services include Acute Treatment Services (detoxification) and Clinical Stabilization Services. These programs are staff secured units, not locked. High Point & Affiliated Organizations is a health and human service agency whose mission is to treat and prevent substance use disorders and mental illness. High Point has programs located throughout Southeastern Massachusetts offering a full continuum of care for substance use and mental health treatment, including inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community-based services. Programs and services also assist survivors of abuse, violence, and families experiencing homelessness. High Point believes that everyone has inherent goodness, worth, and dignity. Our goal is to help individuals and families achieve personal change and improve their quality of life. Housekeeper Requirements Ability to lift 40 lbs Strict adherence to patient confidentiality, boundaries and ethics Housekeeper Duties & Responsibilities Ensures patient rooms, bathrooms, community areas, staff offices, group rooms, nursing stations, corridors, stairwells, etc., are clean, properly disinfected, sanitized, and free of odor at all times Wet mops daily or as needed Buff floors, strip, seal and refinish floors as requested (HPH only) Attend to spills immediately Empty trash and clean containers Clean floor edges and corners to prevent build-up Clean windows, windowsills and other furnishings Knowledge of chemical handling and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) Knowledge of OSHA safety precautions Knowledge of Infection Control Standards - Hand Washing, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Blood spill kits, etc. General knowledge of proper cleaning procedures, disinfecting, etc. Replaces soiled linen, as needed, in patient rooms Handles all Bio-Hazard Utilize standard precautions at all times Demonstrates behaviors that recognize the rights of patients/clients as defined by the patient's right Coordinates with MHS/RS staff to maintain accurate linen and scrubs inventory Attend all unit, facility meeting and case conferences as directed by Supervisor Attend mandatory training Other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor, Hospital Administrator, Program Director, Area Director and/or Vice President Housekeeper Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent (GED) Benefits 403b - Retirement Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
