Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment. Handle various cleaning agents and chemicals safely, adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) and hotel safety protocols. Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and maintain floor care standards to ensure a pristine environment. Manually lift and move furniture or heavy cleaning equipment as needed, following proper manual handling procedures. Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and linens to ensure guest comfort at all times. Follow hotel emergency procedures in case of incidents or safety concerns, ensuring guest and staff safety. Maintain sanitation standards through regular cleaning schedules, ensuring compliance with health regulations and hotel policies. Qualifications Previous janitorial or industrial cleaning experience preferred, especially within hotel housekeeping management or hospitality settings. Knowledge of floor cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, and the proper handling of chemical agents. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and other janitorial tools. Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Understanding of hotel housekeeping operations and emergency procedures is advantageous.
