The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms and public areas, providing a comfortable and welcoming environment for our guests. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, efficient, and committed to maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to hotel standards. Make beds, change linens, and replace towels as needed. Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and clean windows to maintain a spotless environment. Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products. Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to the appropriate department. Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly to ensure a safe working environment. Assist with laundry duties when required. Maintain a professional appearance and courteous attitude towards guests and colleagues. Skills Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles is preferred but not mandatory. Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and hygiene standards. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Good time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes. Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may involve lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods. Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures is an advantage.
