Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a pristine environment. Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational spaces by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting. Handle cleaning equipment and chemical agents safely, adhering strictly to safety data sheets (SDS) and proper handling procedures. Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and linens to ensure guest needs are met promptly. Follow hotel emergency procedures and sanitation protocols to uphold health standards and guest safety. Conduct heavy lifting tasks when necessary for moving furniture or large supplies while following manual handling safety guidelines. Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management for swift resolution. Skills Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial services with a strong understanding of industrial cleaning techniques. Expertise in floor care, including carpet cleaning, floor polishing, and chemical agent handling for various surfaces. Skilled in operating cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, steam cleaners, and other janitorial tools. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Knowledge of hotel housekeeping management practices and custodial procedures to ensure efficient workflow. Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to maintain a secure environment.
