TITLE:

Weight Room Attendant

SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Building Principal, the Weight Room Attendant works year round attending to the high school weight room.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Opens the weight room for any currently enrolled student who wishes to weight train to improve their personal health, well-being, and/or to prepare for the next athletic season. Teach proper technique, safety, etiquette, and a plethora of differentiated exercises.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Current member of the Oxford Education Association.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to remain in a stationary position for extended periods; position oneself to demonstrate technique; move up to 25 lbs. Accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform the functions.

The work is generally performed primarily indoors and predominantly in a school classroom.
