Responsibilities Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities to ensure a fresh and inviting space. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational facilities by sweeping, mopping, disinfecting surfaces, and organizing furniture. Handle laundry duties efficiently by washing, folding, and storing linens and towels according to hotel standards. Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products to ensure availability for guests and staff. Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold safety standards. Follow all safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment use to maintain a safe working environment. Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans of carpets, upholstery, or industrial areas as needed. Skills Experience with Room Attendant or Hotel Housekeeper is highly preferred. Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial work within a hotel or hospitality setting is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning, waxing, polishing, and tile maintenance. Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and customer service principles. Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as vacuums, buffers, steam cleaners, and floor scrubbers effectively. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards. Good physical stamina for standing long periods, bending, lifting heavy items, and performing repetitive tasks.
