The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning resident apartments, common areas, and other facility spaces to ensure a sanitary, safe, and pleasant living environment. This position supports the health and well-being of residents by providing high-quality housekeeping services with professionalism, compassion, and respect. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Clean resident apartments, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas. Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and sanitize floors and surfaces. Clean and disinfect bathrooms, fixtures, and high-touch areas. Empty trash and replace liners. Make beds and change linens as scheduled or needed. Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces. Maintain cleanliness of hallways, dining rooms, lounges, offices, and other common areas. Restock housekeeping supplies and report inventory needs. Follow infection prevention, safety, and OSHA guidelines. Safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment according to facility policies. Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or resident concerns to the appropriate department. Treat residents, families, and coworkers with courtesy, dignity, and respect. Maintain confidentiality of resident information in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Perform other housekeeping duties as assigned. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods. Frequently lift and carry up to 30 pounds; occasionally up to 50 pounds with assistance. Push and pull housekeeping carts and equipment. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
